You read the script before anything is made
TallyReel writes a script with a hook in the first line and plans the footage for every scene. Change a word, swap a shot, or paste your own script and it keeps every word. Nothing renders until you say so.
On an M-series Mac the script takes about 40 seconds, and the voice, footage, captions and music about a minute once you approve it. Windows PCs take one to three minutes for the script.

Where are my videos made and kept?
On your own computer. Scripts, voices, captions, music and rendering all happen there, and the videos stay on your disk until you send one to TallyReel Post to be scheduled. Stock footage comes from Pexels, which needs an internet connection and a free key.
Is the posting really included?
Yes. Buying turns on TallyReel Post Pro for your account: 15 connected channels and unlimited scheduled posts, which is $9 a month on its own. There's no second charge.
Will it post anything without me?
No. Studio sends finished videos to Post as drafts. Nothing goes out until you put it in a slot, and you can always just download the MP4 and post it yourself.
How long does one video take?
About a minute and a half for a 30 to 40 second Short on an M-series Mac. On Windows the script takes one to three minutes. Videos made with AI pictures take several minutes, and a 10-minute YouTube video takes 15 to 30.
Does it work on Windows?
Yes, on 64-bit Windows 10 and 11 as well as Macs with Apple silicon. One purchase covers two computers.
Can I use my own AI key?
If you want to. Scripts are written on your computer for free. You can instead paste a key from Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek or OpenRouter, or point it at Ollama or LM Studio, and pay that service directly, usually a few cents a video.
Can I use my own music?
Yes. Drop MP3, WAV or M4A files into your music folder and pick "My tracks", or use the music TallyReel composes for each video.
Will my computer warn me when I open it?
The first time, yes. TallyReel isn't signed with Apple's or Microsoft's paid certificates yet, so they ask you to confirm once. The install guide shows where to click.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days if TallyReel doesn't work for you. Write to [email protected] or reply to your purchase email.
