Questions
How much does YouTube Shorts pay per 1,000 views?
Most creators report $0.04 to $0.10 per 1,000 views for a mostly US audience, so a million views earns about $40 to $100. Finance, education and tech channels earn several times more; kids, entertainment and South Asian audiences earn less.
How much does TikTok pay for 1 million views?
Through the Creator Rewards Program, about $160 to $700 for a US audience. TikTok pays $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, and only 40% to 70% of views usually qualify. Videos must be over 1 minute.
Do Instagram Reels pay per view?
No. Instagram ended its Reels bonus in 2023 and has no general payout per view. Facebook pays some creators through Content Monetization, which is invite only and has no public rate.
Can I earn from Shorts or TikTok in Pakistan or India?
YouTube Shorts pays in both, at lower rates because ads there cost less. TikTok Creator Rewards does not run in Pakistan, and TikTok is blocked in India. The calculator marks this when you pick the country.
What changes for Shorts in 2027?
From 1 February 2027, new Partner Program applicants need 1,000 subscribers plus 8,000 watch hours or 20 million Shorts views, and Shorts pool payouts need 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days. Channels already in the program stay in it.
How accurate is this?
It is an estimate from public reports, not a promise. Real pay depends on watch time, the season (ads pay more in November and December) and how many of your views count. The rates were checked in October 2026.
