TallyReel is made and sold by Soonbuilt ("we", "us"). These terms are between you and Soonbuilt.

Your license

When you buy TallyReel you get a personal license to install and use it on up to two computers that you own or control. It's a one-time purchase with no subscription. You may not resell, share or redistribute your license key or the app.

AI-assisted software

TallyReel is desktop video creation software with optional AI-assisted features. Those features can run on your computer, or through an AI service you connect with your own key. TallyReel does not provide a hosted generation subscription, face swapping, or a service for creating or distributing synthetic identities, deepfakes, or impersonations. Where AI features are used, you remain responsible for reviewing and approving the content you create before publishing it.

Refunds

If TallyReel doesn't work for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase by writing to [email protected] or replying to your purchase email. Refunds are processed through our payment provider or merchant of record, as applicable. A refunded license stops working, including the TallyReel Post Pro access that came with it. The refund policy is the full version of this, including what happens to videos already on your computer.

Your videos

You own the videos you make. Stock footage comes from Pexels under the Pexels license; follow it where it applies. Music composed by TallyReel and its built-in voices may be used in your videos, including commercially. You are responsible for what you publish, including any facts in AI-written scripts. Review them before posting.

Acceptable use

Don't use TallyReel to make content that breaks the law, infringes other people's rights, or spreads misinformation presented as fact. Don't use it to generate NSFW, pornographic, explicit, or sexually suggestive images or video. Don't use it to generate content that sexualizes anyone under 18. Don't use it for face swaps, deepfakes, or to impersonate a real person, and don't present AI-generated voices or images as a real person. The acceptable use policy is the full list. Prompts are checked before an image or video is generated, and ones that break these rules are blocked. We may deactivate licenses used to break these terms.

Third-party services

Some features use outside services (Pexels, Pollinations, Wikipedia, Creem, and model downloads from Hugging Face and GitHub). If you connect your own AI service or TallyReel Post account, your agreement with them covers that use, and anything they charge is between you and them. They have their own terms, and we can't guarantee they'll always be available.

No warranty

TallyReel is provided "as is". AI output can be wrong, and we don't guarantee that the app will be error-free or fit every purpose. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we'll update the date above.
