How to pick a name that fits a faceless channel
With no face on screen, viewers attach to the voice, the look of the videos and the name. Pick a name that describes the feeling or the promise of your videos, not you. "Small Hours" tells people what mood to expect. "Danish Talks" tells them nothing if Danish never appears.
Say it out loud the way your voiceover would. If it is hard to pronounce, hard to spell after hearing it once, or looks like a different word in lowercase, people will not find you in search.
- Keep it to one to three words and under about 20 characters so the handle fits.
- Leave room to grow. "Space Facts Daily" is fine, but "Orbit Notes" can also cover astronomy news and longer videos.

- Google the name in quotes. If a brand, a band or a big creator shows up on page one, you will fight them for search results forever.
Naming mistakes that hold faceless channels back
- Copying a big channel's name with one letter changed. It confuses viewers, can break YouTube's impersonation rules, and invites a trademark complaint.
- Using a trademark (a brand, a game, a film, a sports league) in the name. Even fan channels get asked to change.
