A content calendar you plan by dragging

Every post, every account, one week at a glance.

Yes. TallyReel's calendar shows every scheduled, posted and waiting post across your accounts in Week, List and Month views, plus an Instagram grid when an Instagram account is connected. In Week you drag a post to another day or a free posting slot to move it, and you can pick many posts to move, queue, post or delete together.

Plans: Every plan, including Free. The calendar has no plan limit; what you can schedule depends on your plan's channels and posts a month.

The calendar is where TallyReel's posting comes together. Posts you write, videos you make with Post it for me, episodes of a series on autopilot and rows from a CSV import all land on the same week, in the part of the day they go out, in your time zone.

Each post card is tinted by where it stands, so you can read a week without opening anything: plain paper for a draft, butter yellow for a post waiting on you (approval, or one to post by hand), sky blue for scheduled, mint green for posted and red for one that didn't post. The filters on top narrow the whole calendar to one account, one playlist or one status.

How it works

  1. Open the week. Week shows seven days side by side, split into parts of the day. Tap Add under a day to start a post already set to that day.
  2. Drag to move. Pick up a post and drop it on another day or a free slot. A toast confirms the new time and offers Undo. On a phone, press and hold to lift a post so a swipe still scrolls.
  3. Park what has no date. Open the Unscheduled panel beside the week to see drafts without a day. Drag one onto the calendar to give it a time.
  4. Edit many at once. Turn on picking, tick up to 100 posts, then move them a day or a week earlier or later, put them into your next free slots, post them now, delete them or add them to a playlist.
  5. Check the overview. Month shows a dot per post; tap a day to jump to its week. List shows four weeks in time order.

Time zones and posting slots

The calendar draws every post in your own time zone. Your posting times (Settings, Posting times) are weekly slots in the workspace's time zone, with daylight saving handled for you. If the schedule runs on a different clock from your account, the settings page says so, which matters when a team spans countries.

Slots can be for every account or for one account. A post going to several accounts takes the first slot that is free on all of them. Suggest slots from best times adds two a day from typical peak hours, or from your own best hours once there is enough history. A workspace can hold up to 300 weekly slots.

Questions

Is the content calendar free?

Yes. Every plan, including Free, gets the full calendar with Week, List, Month and the Instagram grid. The Free plan schedules 10 posts a month to 1 account.

Can I reschedule a post by dragging it?

Yes, in Week view. Drop it on another day or a free slot and it takes that time. Undo is offered right after.

Can I move several posts at once?

Yes. Turn on picking in Week, tick the posts (up to 100) and choose Move: a day or a week earlier or later, or into your next free slots.

What do the colors mean?

Plain is a draft, butter yellow waits on you (approval, or posting by hand), sky blue is scheduled, mint green is posted and red didn't post.

Does it show my Instagram grid?

Yes, once an Instagram account is connected. The Grid view lays out what's posted and what's coming, three across. The free Instagram grid preview tool on our site does the same with pictures you drop in.
