Ladies' salons in the Gulf trade on privacy. Many clients will happily book after seeing your work but will never agree to appear in a video, and a salon that posts faces without clear permission loses trust fast. So build your content around hands, hair from behind, tools, products and the room itself. Ask for written permission even for hands-only clips of a bride, and never film other clients in the background.
Oud and perfume brands have the opposite problem: the product is invisible. Show the ritual instead. Smoke rising from a mabkhara, oil on a wrist, a gift box being wrapped, a majlis before guests arrive. Short explainers (dehn al oud versus perfume, how to layer, how many coals) get saved and shared, and they teach new buyers how to use what you sell.
Both businesses run on seasons. Post gift and bakhoor content in the last ten days of Ramadan and before both Eids, when people are buying for family visits. Bridal packages and henna work best ahead of the wedding season and school holidays, and National Day in each country brings gift boxes in the flag colours. In Ramadan, people scroll after taraweeh, so post then. Three to four reels a week is enough for most small brands.
Avoid health or skin claims you cannot back up, before-and-after faces without signed consent, and copying another brand's bottle shots. Keep prices and offers accurate on every platform. For salons, show hygiene clearly: it is one of the first things new clients worry about.
