Schedule LinkedIn posts that earn the “see more” click

On LinkedIn the first two lines do all the work, everything else hides behind “see more”. TallyReel shows you where the fold lands before you schedule, and posts to your profile at a time professionals are actually scrolling.

When to post

Best time to post on LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a working-hours network. Tuesday to Thursday mornings are the reliable windows, and weekend posts usually see a fraction of the reach. If you post once a week, make it a weekday morning in your audience’s timezone, not yours.

TallyReel starts every account from the same baseline, weekday peaks at 8 AM, 12 PM, 5 PM, 6 PM, weekend peaks at 10 AM, 11 AM, 7 PM, 8 PM, in your audience’s local time, and after about 20 published posts shifts it toward the hours that actually work for you.

Write it well

LinkedIn posts that land

  • The first 2 lines show before “see more”. Short paragraphs, one clear takeaway.
  • Write short paragraphs with a blank line between them; walls of text lose people on mobile.
  • Lead with a specific claim or number rather than a greeting.
  • Keep hashtags to a handful at the end; LinkedIn treats them as topics, not decoration.

LinkedIn scheduling FAQ

Can I post to a LinkedIn company page?

Not yet, TallyReel currently posts to personal profiles. Company page support needs LinkedIn’s Community Management API, which we plan to add.

Will scheduled posts get less reach than manual ones?

TallyReel publishes through LinkedIn’s official API, the same way other scheduling tools do. What drives reach is the post itself and when it goes out.

What’s the character limit on LinkedIn?

3,000 characters. TallyReel counts the way LinkedIn does, so the number you see is the number LinkedIn will check.

Is LinkedIn scheduling free?

Yes, every feature and every network is free while TallyReel is in beta, with no card required. Beta users will get plenty of notice before paid plans start.
