When to post
Best time to post on Facebook
Facebook Page audiences skew older and check in around breakfast, lunch and after dinner. Mid-week midday posts are a sensible default; for local businesses, the evening before an event or offer works well.
TallyReel starts every account from the same baseline, weekday peaks at 8 AM, 12 PM, 5 PM, 6 PM, weekend peaks at 10 AM, 11 AM, 7 PM, 8 PM, in your audience’s local time, and after about 20 published posts shifts it toward the hours that actually work for you.

Facebook posts that land
- Posts under 80 characters get the most engagement.
- Short posts (under about 80 characters) tend to get the most engagement, let the image carry the rest.
- Native photos and video usually outperform bare link posts.
- Pick the Page per post in the composer; TallyReel remembers nothing you didn’t choose.
Facebook scheduling FAQ
