YouTube viewing peaks in the afternoon and evening, and a video needs time to be processed and indexed. Scheduling an upload an hour or two before your audience’s evening gives it a head start.

Keep Shorts titles under about 60 characters so they aren’t cut off.
Use the description for the keywords people search, YouTube is a search engine too.

Why did my upload come out private?

Google locks uploads from apps that haven’t completed its verification to private. If you see this, TallyReel’s verification is still in progress, you can change the visibility in YouTube Studio.

How do I disconnect YouTube?

Remove the channel in TallyReel’s settings, and you can also revoke access any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

What’s the character limit on YouTube?

5,000 characters, plus a separate title. TallyReel counts the way YouTube does, so the number you see is the number YouTube will check.

Is YouTube scheduling free?
