Eight tools, real prices, and where each one falls short
Short answer: For the best-looking videos per dollar, InVideo AI is hard to beat at $9 a month, but you post them yourself. For a channel that is written, made and posted for you, TallyReel (ours) is the only tool here with a free plan and scheduling to 15 networks. AutoShorts.ai, Revid, Faceless.video and StoryShort all auto-post too, to fewer networks and with no free plan.
InVideo AI: the most polished videos for the money
TallyReel: running a whole faceless channel, from idea to posted video
AutoShorts.ai: a set-and-forget series posted on autopilot
Revid: spotting viral formats and posting to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
Faceless.video: the cheapest auto-posting plan we could confirm
StoryShort: story shorts posted for you, billed yearly
Crayo: split-screen, fake-text and Reddit-story clips
A faceless video generator turns an idea into a narrated video: a script, a voiceover, footage or pictures for each line, captions and music. The tools below all do that. Where they differ is what happens around the video: whether you can edit the script first, whether it posts for you, how many networks it posts to, and how much a month of daily videos costs.
We make TallyReel, which is on this list. We ranked it second, not first, because InVideo AI makes better-looking videos and has been around far longer. Every price below was read from each tool's own pricing page on October 18, 2026, except AutoShorts.ai, whose pricing page did not load, so its prices come from published reviews and are marked.

1. InVideo AI
Best for: the most polished videos for the money
InVideo AI writes a script from a prompt and assembles a timeline of stock and generated footage, then lets you edit it in a full timeline editor. Paid plans open generative video models, so it can show scenes stock libraries don't have. It is the strongest pure video maker here, and the cheapest paid entry.
Price: No free plan. Basic $9 a month, Pro $30, Ultra $80; about half that billed yearly. (checked 18 October 2026)
Good
Generated footage and a real timeline editor.
Cheapest paid plan on this list at $9 a month.
Translation of a video's audio and captions into many languages, Hindi and Urdu included.
Watch out for
No free plan on the pricing page.

Best for: running a whole faceless channel, from idea to posted video
TallyReel writes a script with a hook and planned shots from one idea, waits for you to approve it, then makes the video with stock footage or AI pictures, voiceover, captions and music, and schedules it to up to 15 networks. Besides narrated videos it makes stick figure and cartoon skits, comics, AI host videos and long YouTube videos up to 15 minutes. It is ranked second because it is new: it opens to everyone on 10 November, and has no long track record yet.
Price: Free plan (300 free credits once, about 3 videos with a small mark); Starter $19 a month, Plus $39, Pro $79; Studio desktop app $49 once until 30 November, then $149. (all plans)

Schedules to 15 networks, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, on every plan.
A free plan you can keep, with no card.

No generated video clips: pictures and stock footage, not AI-filmed scenes.
New in 2026, with no third-party reviews yet.
Free videos carry a small TallyReel mark.
3. AutoShorts.ai
Best for: a set-and-forget series posted on autopilot
AutoShorts.ai is the original series-on-autopilot tool: pick a topic, and it makes and posts a new video on a schedule to TikTok and YouTube. It is simple, which is why people like it. Reviews also report that many channels made with it look alike, and that a channel is limited to one active series per plan.
Price: Starter about $19 a month, Daily $39, Hardcore $69 (from published reviews; the pricing page did not load for us). (checked 18 October 2026)
Good
Very little to set up: choose a series and a schedule.
Posts to TikTok and YouTube for you.
Watch out for
Prices could not be checked on its own page.
Reviews mention videos that look similar across channels.
Best for: spotting viral formats and posting to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
Revid makes short videos from a prompt, a script or another video, and is known for researching what is already doing well so you can make your own take on it. Every plan publishes to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. It is one of the more expensive ways in.
Price: No free plan, trial credits for new accounts. From $39 a month ($32 billed yearly); Ultra $199. (checked 18 October 2026)
Good
Auto-posts to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube on every plan.

The two lowest plans showed the same price when we checked, so confirm what you get.
Fliki is voice-first: a large voice catalog, translation into 80+ languages, voice cloning, and the same idea turned into a video, audio or slides. For explainer and education channels where the narration carries the video, it is a safe choice.
Price: Free forever plan (watermark, 720p); Standard about $28 a month, Premium about $88 (Fliki's pricing page showed local currency; US figures from Fliki's own pages). (checked 18 October 2026)
Good
A free plan that doesn't expire.
One of the largest voice catalogs, with Pakistani Urdu voices.
Best for: the cheapest auto-posting plan we could confirm
Faceless.video is the closest twin to the series tools: it makes faceless shorts and posts them to your connected accounts on a schedule. Its Starter plan is the lowest-priced auto-posting plan we found on a vendor's own page.
Price: No free plan. Starter $20 a month (15 videos, 1 account), Daily $35 (30 videos), Double $59, Studio $149. (checked 18 October 2026)
Good
Auto-posting from $20 a month.
Daily plan covers unlimited social accounts.
Watch out for
No free plan to try it first.
Its pricing page doesn't list languages or which networks it posts to.
Best for: story shorts posted for you, billed yearly
StoryShort makes narrated story shorts and auto-posts them on every plan, with no watermark on any paid plan. Billed yearly it is reasonable; month to month it is one of the pricier entries.
Price: No free plan. Starter $39 a month or $23 billed yearly; Growth $69 ($42 yearly). (checked 18 October 2026)
Best for: split-screen, fake-text and Reddit-story clips
Crayo is built for the fast viral formats: gameplay split-screens, fake text conversations and Reddit stories read over footage. If that is your channel, it is quick. It doesn't post for you, and it isn't aimed at original stories or long videos.
We ranked the tools for one job: running a faceless channel that posts regularly to Shorts, Reels or TikTok. That means four things matter more than anything else. How good the finished video looks and sounds. Whether you can read and fix the script before it is made, because that is what keeps a channel original. Whether the tool posts for you, and where. And what a month of regular videos really costs.
We did not use star ratings, because we don't have independent ones for every tool and won't invent them. Each "best for" line is the job we think that tool does better than the rest of the list. Where a fact couldn't be confirmed on the vendor's own page, we say so instead of guessing.
What to look for before you pay
Check the credits, not just the price. Almost every tool here meters usage in credits or videos, and generated footage, long videos and premium voices use them faster. Work out what one video costs on the plan you are looking at, then multiply by how often you post.
Check the posting. "Auto-post" can mean one network or fifteen, and some tools only post to accounts you connect one at a time. If you want the same video on YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram, make sure all three are covered.
Check for sameness. YouTube's inauthentic content policy targets mass-produced, repetitive videos. Whatever tool you use, edit every script, give the channel a point of view, and avoid posting the same template every day.
