AI comment replies, checked by you
Every comment gets an answer ready. Nothing goes out until you send it.
Yes, for Bluesky and Mastodon today. Comments on your posts come into Replies with a draft answer Tally wrote in your brand voice; you edit it if you like and press Send, or Send all for the easy ones. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Threads comments are coming once those networks grant TallyReel the extra permission they require.
Plans: Every plan. Each draft uses 1 credit, and automatic drafts stop when fewer than 100 credits are left, so comments never eat the help you wanted for making posts.
Replying to comments is the cheapest growth there is and the first thing to slip when you post every day. Replies puts every comment from your connected accounts in one list, with a reply already written, so working through them takes minutes instead of an evening.
The drafts are suggestions, not autopilot. Tally never posts a reply by itself. It reads each new comment, works out the mood, and writes an answer in the voice you set for your brand. You read it, change a word, and send it from TallyReel, and the reply appears under the comment on the network as if you typed it there.

How it works
- Connect Bluesky or Mastodon. Comments on posts TallyReel published in the last two weeks are read automatically, every 15 minutes while a post is fresh, then less often.
- Open Replies. Open shows comments waiting for you, upset people first, then newest. Done shows what you answered or marked as done.
- Check Tally's draft. Each card has a reply ready. Edit it, press Try another for a new draft, or Draft a reply on any comment that doesn't have one yet.
- Send. Send one, or Send all to answer every easy one at once. Comments from upset people, spam, and replies too long for the network wait for you.
- Open the conversation. Tap a card to see the post the comment was left on and the whole thread as bubbles, with the answer box underneath.
What people use it for
How Tally handles the hard ones
Every new comment gets a mood. Someone who seems upset gets a Seems upset flag and goes to the top of the list. Tally doesn't answer for you there: the draft is kind and asks them to message you, and Send all skips it so a person decides. Comments that look like spam are marked as spam and moved to Done, so they don't crowd the list.
Replies are checked against the network's length before they can go: up to 300 characters on Bluesky and 500 on Mastodon, counted the way each network counts. A draft that runs long shows it and waits for you to trim it.
What the drafts are based on
Tally writes each draft from three things: the comment itself, the post it was left on, and how your brand talks. The brand voice is the short description you write under Brand voice in your settings (for example warm, short sentences, no slang), and it is the voice of whoever wrote the post. On top of that Tally reads its notebook, the things you have told Tally about your business, such as opening hours, delivery areas or the name of your product, so a question about when you open gets the real answer instead of a guess.
If a draft misses the tone, Try another writes a fresh one. If the same fact keeps coming out wrong, tell Tally about it once and every draft after that uses it.
Which networks work today
- Live: Bluesky and Mastodon. Comments come in, drafts are written, and your reply posts under the comment.
- Coming: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Threads. Reading their comments needs extra permission from each network, and they switch on as each one approves it.
- Not covered yet: X and Reddit (posted by hand from TallyReel, so there is no connection to read from), LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Tumblr, Telegram, Discord and Google Business.
Honest limits
- Only comments on posts TallyReel published, within two weeks of posting, are read.
- Drafts are never sent automatically. Every reply is sent by a person.
- Automatic drafts are capped per check and use at most half of the month's AI help. Past that, comments wait with a Draft a reply button.
- Direct messages are not included, only public comments and replies.
Questions
Does TallyReel reply to comments automatically?
No. Tally writes a draft for each comment, but a person always presses Send. Send all lets you answer every easy one at once after a look.
Which networks does it read comments from?
Bluesky and Mastodon today. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Threads are next; they need extra permission from those networks first.
What happens with angry comments?
They get a Seems upset flag and go to the top. Tally's draft is kind and asks them to message you, and Send all leaves them for you to handle.
Does it use my credits?
Yes. Each drafted reply is an AI action and uses 1 credit from your balance. Automatic drafts stop while you have fewer than 100 credits left, so a busy comment section never uses the credits you kept for a video.
Can I write my own reply instead?
Yes. Clear the draft and type your own, or mark the comment as done without replying.
Pick one. Make it tonight.
Type the idea into TallyReel, read the script, and it makes the video for you: in the browser, on your phone, or in Studio on your own computer. Start on the free plan.
