The restaurant and cafe videos that work in Saudi Arabia are short, in Arabic, and built around one dish, one drink or one reason to visit this week. You can make them without anyone on camera: type the idea or paste an Arabic script, add your own dish photos and kitchen clips, and get a natural Arabic voiceover with right-to-left captions.
Below are 36 ideas written as the first line of the video in Arabic, for restaurants serving mandi, kabsa or burgers and for cafes from specialty coffee bars to Saudi coffee and dates. There are two full Arabic scripts to copy, a weekly posting plan built around Thursday nights and Ramadan, and what to avoid.

Script 2
A weekly plan that fits Saudi dining habits
Weekends in Saudi Arabia are Friday and Saturday, so most families decide where to eat on Wednesday and Thursday. Post your strongest dish or offer then, in the evening, when people are on their phones planning the night. Three to five videos a week is plenty for most restaurants and cafes, and a fixed series name (طبق الأسبوع, for example) helps regulars find the next one.
Ramadan changes everything. Post iftar boxes and suhoor hours before the month starts, then post close to maghrib and after taraweeh, which is when people scroll. Cafes often see their busiest nights after taraweeh, so show the late opening hours clearly. Winter is outdoor-seating season in Riyadh and the north, and National Day and Founding Day bring local-themed dishes and decor.
Wednesday: kitchen video or dish story (saves and shares)
Thursday afternoon: weekend dish, offer or family seating (visits)
Saturday: a quick answer for first-timers (how to order, parking, spice level)
Ramadan: iftar and suhoor content before the month, then daily near maghrib
Arabic or English, and what to avoid
Write in Arabic for local families and in English only if most of your guests are expats. Simple Modern Standard Arabic reads well everywhere; a little Saudi dialect in the caption text makes it feel local. Use your own dish photos and kitchen clips for anything about your menu, and keep stock footage for explainers like how specialty coffee is brewed. Never film guests without asking, especially families and women, and keep claims honest: no health promises and no ratings or reviews you cannot show.
TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram all matter for restaurants in Saudi Arabia, and Google Maps is where hungry people compare places. TallyReel schedules to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Google Business among its 15 networks. It does not post to Snapchat, so download the video and upload it there yourself.
Making it in TallyReel
Pick Arabic, type an idea like the mandi story above or paste your own Arabic script, and edit every line before anything is made. Add your dish photos and kitchen clips to the Library and use them in place of stock footage, or start from your photos and let it write one Arabic line per photo. A natural Arabic voice, a man's or a woman's, reads it, and captions are set right to left. You can add your logo on a start and end card. Business content writes in English, Hindi or Urdu for now, so Arabic restaurant ads are made this way.
Questions
Can I make an Arabic video ad for my restaurant without filming myself?
Yes. Use your dish photos and kitchen clips, type or paste an Arabic script, and a natural Arabic voice reads it with Arabic captions. Nobody needs to be on camera.
When should Saudi restaurants post videos?
Wednesday and Thursday evenings work for most, since families plan the Friday and Saturday weekend then. In Ramadan, post near maghrib and after taraweeh.
Should my restaurant videos be in Arabic or English?
Arabic for local families, English if most guests are expats. You can make the same video in both, and on Plus and Pro a finished video can be remade in another language.
Can TallyReel post to Snapchat?
Not yet. It schedules to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Google Business and other networks; for Snapchat, download the video and upload it.
Type the idea into TallyReel, read the script, and it makes the video for you: in the browser, on your phone, or in Studio on your own computer. Start on the free plan.
