Type the idea, get an Arabic video with an Arabic voice
Arabic is where a lot of AI video tools fall apart. The script is written in English and machine translated, the voice stumbles over the words, and the captions come out in the wrong direction or in letters that don't join. TallyReel writes the story in Arabic from the start when you pick Arabic, reads it with a natural Arabic voice, and sets the captions right to left in a Naskh typeface, the hand Arabic readers expect.
You can start from a one-line idea in Arabic or English, or paste your own Arabic text. This page shows how an Arabic video gets made, 36 ideas that work well in Arabic, two scripts to copy, and answers to the questions people ask before they try it.

How an Arabic video gets made
You can make Arabic videos in the TallyReel web app, from any browser or phone, or in the TallyReel Studio desktop app.
1. Pick Arabic as the language.
2. Type an idea in Arabic or English, press Surprise me, or paste your own Arabic script.
3. With an AI writer, the story is written directly in Arabic, with names, food and places from where its audience lives, not translated from English.
4. Read and edit the script before anything is made. Nothing is rendered until you approve it.
5. Pick the visuals: real stock footage, AI pictures in a look you choose, or your own photos and clips.
6. A natural Arabic voice, a man's or a woman's, reads the script.
7. Captions are set right to left in a Naskh typeface with the letters joined properly. Choose music, check the captions, and download or post it.
What works in Arabic
History works especially well: the Islamic Golden Age, the House of Wisdom in Baghdad, scholars like al-Khwarizmi and Ibn al-Haytham, and cities like Fez, Petra and Samarra. So do wisdom tales and Juha stories, surprising facts, everyday motivation, and Ramadan and Eid moments. Keep religious content respectful and factual, avoid giving rulings, and never depict prophets.
Narrated stories, stock footage videos, AI host videos (one or two hosts talking to camera with lips in sync), talking cartoons, top 10 countdowns and videos made from your photos can all be made in Arabic. Quiz videos and business ads are made in English, Hindi or Urdu for now, so for an Arabic business video use a narrated story or a photo video instead.
Pasting your own Arabic text
If you already write in Arabic, paste your text and choose to use it as your own script. It is split into scenes, a picture is found or drawn for each one, and it is read as written. You can change any line later and only that scene is made again.
Keep each scene to one or two short sentences. Short lines are easier for the voice to read with the right pauses, and easier to read as captions on a phone. Write numbers and years as words if you want them read a particular way, and keep your first line a question or a surprise, because the first two seconds decide whether someone keeps watching.
On Plus and Pro, any finished video can also be made again in other languages, so an English video can get an Arabic version without writing it twice.
Questions
Can AI make a video in Arabic?
Yes. Pick Arabic as the language, type an idea or paste Arabic text, and TallyReel writes the script in Arabic, reads it with a natural Arabic voice and adds Arabic captions and pictures.
Do the Arabic captions show right to left?
Yes. Arabic captions are set right to left, with the letters joined, in a Naskh typeface rather than the Nastaliq used for Urdu.
