A Fliki alternative with no credits to count
Voices in 80+ languages, or one price and unlimited renders
Fliki started as a text to speech tool and grew into a video maker, and its voices are still the headline: 1,000 on Standard and over 2,000 on Premium, across more than 80 languages. It turns ideas, scripts, blog posts and slide decks into videos in the browser. It has a free plan, and paid plans run on monthly credits.
TallyReel is a desktop app for faceless creators. Type one idea, get a script with a hook and a shot plan, approve it, and it builds the video on your computer with Pexels stock, voiceover, captions and music. It costs $49 once and includes scheduling to 15 networks. If you need many languages, Fliki is ahead. If you make English, Hindi or Urdu videos in volume, TallyReel may cost you far less.

Where Fliki is better
- Languages. Fliki covers more than 80, with over 1,000 voices on Standard. TallyReel has 9 English voices plus Hindi and Urdu voices.
- There's a free plan you can keep using, which is handy for a one-minute test every month.
- It turns blog posts and slide decks straight into video, and translates videos into other languages.
- It runs in the browser, so any computer works, and it offers cloned voices and avatars for people who want them.
Where TallyReel is better
- No credits. Fliki charges credits again when you re-generate audio after an edit; with TallyReel, re-rendering costs nothing.
- One payment of $49 rather than a monthly bill, with unlimited videos.
- Scheduling reaches 15 networks, including TikTok, Instagram and Pinterest, not only YouTube.
- It writes the script from one idea with a hook planned for Shorts, then waits for your approval.
Pick Fliki if
- You publish in languages other than English, Hindi and Urdu, or need translations.
- You want a free plan for occasional short videos, or you work on a Chromebook.
Pick TallyReel if
- You make faceless videos weekly or daily and are tired of watching a credit balance.
- You want TikTok, Instagram and YouTube scheduling in the same purchase.
Is there a free Fliki alternative without a watermark?
Fliki's own free plan exports at 720p, up to one minute, with its watermark. TallyReel's first 3 videos are free and carry a small "Made with TallyReel" mark too. After the $49 license, TallyReel has no mark and no video limit. Neither one is fully free without a mark, and it's better to know that up front.
The cost over a year
Fliki shows prices in the visitor's local currency, and a yearly discount code was running on the page when we checked, so the exact number depends on where you live. We couldn't confirm the US price from here, so check fliki.ai for yours. Fliki's FAQ estimates that Standard's 180 credits cover around 60 one-minute videos a month.
TallyReel is $49 once at the launch price, $79 after launch, with no monthly allowance. Pexels keys are free. If you write scripts with your own AI key instead of the free on-device writer, that service bills you, usually a few cents a video.
What switching looks like
Paste the Fliki scripts that worked for you into TallyReel, or type the idea and let it write a fresh one. Pick a voice and one of the 13 templates, choose a caption style, and approve. A Short takes about 1.5 minutes on an M-series Mac; on Windows the script step takes 1 to 3 minutes.
Then connect your accounts in Post. If you were only publishing to YouTube from Fliki, this is a good time to add TikTok, Instagram Reels and the other networks, since they're included.
Where TallyReel falls short
Languages are the clearest gap. There's also no free-forever plan, no browser version, no translation, no cloned voices and no avatars. It needs an M1 or newer Mac or 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 with 16 GB of memory recommended and about 12 GB of free disk. Stock footage depends on Pexels.
