Desi horror is scarier when it is close to home: a haveli, a village well, a school bench, a night bus. Keep the threat small and specific, keep the voice calm, and save the reveal for the last line. Pictures should suggest more than they show: a doorway, a lamp, a shadow on a wall.
Thirty to sixty seconds works for Shorts and Reels. For YouTube, longer horror videos that tell one full story, or three stories on one theme, give viewers a reason to stay. Post at the same time every night: horror audiences watch late.
