Make it once, post it in every language

The same pictures, retold and voiced in each language.

TallyReel's Every Language remakes a finished video in up to 8 other languages at once. Each version keeps the original's pictures and clips, gets its script retold in the new language, and is voiced and captioned in that language, so you get a separate, native-sounding video for each language that can post to its own account.

Plans: Plus and Pro. On Free and Starter the button and a preview with voice samples still show, so you can hear it before you upgrade. Each language version uses 100 credits a minute.

Most video translators dub the original audio and try to match the lips. TallyReel works the other way round, because its videos are made from a script: it retells that script in the new language, records a fresh voice that speaks it, and rebuilds the captions in the new language's own script. Nothing is dubbed over the old voice, so the Urdu version sounds like it was made in Urdu.

This is how one idea becomes several channels. A history story made in English can go to an English channel, its Hindi version to a Hindi channel and its Arabic version to an Arabic one, all from the same pictures you already paid to make. TallyReel remembers which account each language went to, so the next video's Urdu version goes to the same Urdu account without picking it again.

How it works

  1. Open a finished video. In your Library, open a story or other narrated video and press Make it in other languages. You can also choose Also make it in on Create, and the versions start once the original is ready.
  2. Pick up to 8 languages. Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Turkish and Portuguese are shown first; More languages opens the rest of the 31.
  3. Choose where each one goes. For each language, pick the account it should post to as soon as it is ready, or choose Just make it, don't post.
  4. Let each version build. Each language is its own video in your Library, with its own voice, captions and thumbnail words. The original's pictures and clips are reused, so it isn't painted or searched for again.

What changes and what stays

The pictures, the clips and the order of the scenes stay the same. The script is retold, not translated word for word, so idioms and jokes are said the way a speaker of that language would say them. The voice is new: if the original voice speaks the new language it keeps it, otherwise it uses a voice of the same kind (a man's or a woman's) that does. The captions are drawn again in the new language, and the thumbnail words follow the video's language unless you chose English for them.

Each version is a separate video with its own credits, its own post and its own results, which is what you want if each language lives on its own account.

Questions

Can AI translate my video into another language?

Yes, for videos made in TallyReel. Every Language retells the script in the new language, records a new voice and redraws the captions, over the original pictures. It is on Plus and Pro.

How many languages can I translate a video into?

Up to 8 at a time, from TallyReel's 44 languages. You can make more versions later from the same video while its scenes are kept.

Does it keep my voice?

A version uses the original's voice when that voice speaks the new language, and otherwise a TallyReel voice of the same kind (a man's or a woman's) that does.

How much does a translated version cost?

100 credits a minute for each language: a 1 minute Short uses 100 credits per language, a 5 minute video 500. Plus brings 10,000 credits a month for $39.

Can each language post to a different account?

Yes. Pick an account for each language and it posts as soon as that version is ready. TallyReel remembers the choice for next time.

Is it a dub with lip sync?

No. TallyReel videos are faceless, so there are no lips to match. The script is retold and read fresh, which sounds more natural than a dub.
